PandemoniUM is University of Maryland-College Park’s most eclectic all-gender a cappella group, bringing you originality and personality since 1994. PandemoniUM has always striven to both uphold musicality and to create lasting friendships. As a diverse group of students, styles also vary in range from mellow R&B to funky indie to upbeat pop. We take pride in having all of our arrangements exclusively done by members currently in the group!

PandemoniUM has been semi-regularly competing in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) in recent years. We were awarded first place at the 2010 ICCA South Quarterfinals, along with Best Arrangement for "Chicago/Clocks." We were also awarded third place at the 2014 South Quarterfinals and "Best Vocal Percussion" that year.

PandemoniUM was awarded first place at the ICCA Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinals of both 2016 and 2017 Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinals, advancing to semifinals and placing third in 2016. In 2016, we also won Outstanding Choreography for the Entire Set, and Outstanding Soloist for Valen Gordon on "Weight in Gold." In 2017, we were also awarded Best Vocal Percussion.

In 2018, we won third place at the ICCA Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinals, as well as Best Arrangement for the Entire Set, and Best Vocal Percussion.

The Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) featured “Breathe Me” by PandemoniUM in 2009. In 2014, PandemoniUM sang their Justin Timberlake Medley and “What Now” by Rihanna live on University of Maryland’s WMUC Radio Station. We also had the amazing experience of singing for The Tommy Show Live on 94.7 fresh FM in December of 2015 and 2016.
